Despina Lalaki, organizer of communist SYRIZA and its local organization "AKNY" at a New York demonstration in solidarity with Turkish Kemalists. The anti-Hellenic attitudes of the so-called "progressives" within SYRIZA allow this woman to stand next to a flag with the image of the arch-butcher Kemal and banners stating that "ATATURK DON'T GIVE UP"! Ms. Lalaki enjoys a salary and scholarship from the Alexander S. Onassis Foundation to "teach" about Greek culture at New York University.

The person standing next to her with the flag is the homosexual Nick Levis who is a leftist activist. He joined Lalaki in this Kemalist rally. They are part of Syrizas branch of New York (Aristeri Kinisi). Also part of that group are Costas Panayotakis who teaches at NYU, Nick Alexiou who teaches at Queens college, Alan Akrivos, Nena Panourgia, and Peter Bratsis. The same people who had Rena Dourou and Alexi Tsipras in the United States as guests. Tsipras (the "socialist") who was spending a nice holiday in Park Avenue (the richest part of New York).
